Do not cut the yarn. Continue crocheting with the red yarn.
Hold both pieces together and crochet around both layers with the red yarn: (3 sc, inc) × 6 (30).
Stuff the mushroom cap firmly before completing the round.
Add white embroidered spots to the mushroom cap.
With white yarn, make a chain to the desired length for the bag strap. Sew the strap to the mushroom bag.
Assembly and finishing
- Sew the eyes onto the head between approximately Rounds 2 and 6.
- Using a hot glue gun, attach the pupil to the white part of the eye. Then glue the completed eye onto the green eye base.
- Embroider the mouth using black chenille yarn.
- Attach the arms to the sides of the body, one round below the eyes.
- Attach the legs at the same level as the arms, at the round where the bottom of the arms is located.
- Attach the belly patch to the body using a hot glue gun.
- Sew the mushroom onto the head.
- Apply blush to the cheeks (optional).
