BLUSH: Get some pink yarn and embroider cheek blush just below the eyes.
SNOUT: Embroider a snout using some pink yarn.
ARMS: Sew the arms on the Rnd 16.
HEAD AND BODY: Using the yarn tail of the head, sew the head and body together. Make sure that the head is properly aligned with the body.
CAPE: Use the cords to tie the cape securely around the neck.
HAT: Glue the hat detail on the base of the hat, and glue the hat to the head.
EARS: Cut a triangle from pink felt cloth and glue them inside the ears. Then, glue/sew the ears on opposite lover sides of the hat.
Broom head
Use a light brown yarn.
Base
Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
Do not cut off the yarn.
We are going to crochet the strands for the broom head.
Strands 1-6: ch 7, start from the 2nd ch from hook: 6 sc, sl st on base
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Assembly (broom)
Let us now assembly the broom.
- Get 3.5 cm long aluminum wire.
- Bend one end of the wire.
- Insert the other end of the wire in the middle base of the broom head.
- Put some glue around the base of the broom head to secure it around the wire.
- Apply glue on the other end of the aluminum wire. It wil serve as the handle of the broom.
- Get a darker shade of brown yarn, and wrap it around the broom handle. I wrapped mine around the handle twice to make the handle thicker.
- Get the same color of yarn as what you have used for the broom head, and wrap it around the top portion of the broom head.
- You have finished making the broom!
