Crochet gummi bear free amigurumi pattern

This tiny crochet gummi bear amigurumi is so fun! Follow this free amigurumi pattern to create your own cute gummi bear. The legs and body of the crochet bear are worked in one piece, other parts are worked separately and sewn on afterwards. The size of the crochet gummi bear depends on yarn and hook combination.

Supplies

• 4 pyl rayon lace yarn (I use brand “Leylak”)
• Colours: You can crochet with any other colours you fancy
• The size of the hook is 0.55mm
• The size of safety eye is 2mm
• Needle for sewing
• Fiber to fill up

Abbreviation used (US terms)

Head

Start with any colour you like.
Round 1: 7 sc in MR (7)
Round 2: 7 inc (14)
Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x7 (21)
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x7 (28)
Round 5–11 (7 rounds): 28 sc

Note: Insert the safety eyes between rounds 8 and 9.
The number of stitches between two eyes should be 5 after placing the eyes.

Round 12: (2 sc, dec) x7 (21)
Round 13: (1 sc, dec) x7 (14)
Round 14: 7 dec (7)

Note: Leave enough thread to sew the head to the body.

Ears (make 2)

Round 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Round 2: 6 sc

Note: Leave enough thread to sew the ears. Sew the ears between the 4th and 5th rows.

Legs and body (one piece)

Legs (make 2)

Round 1: 7 sc in MR (7)
Round 2: 7 sc

Fasten off the first leg but not on the second one.

Continue on to the body.

Body

Round 3: Connect the legs with 1 sc, make 6 sc around the first leg, and 7 sc around the second leg (14)
Round 4–8 (5 rounds): 14 sc
Round 9: 7 dec (7)

Fasten off.

Arms (make 2)

Round 1: 5 sc in MR (5)
Round 2–5 (4 rounds): 5 sc

Note: Sew the arms to the 8th row of the body.
