Head-body (one piece)
Make 5 ch.
Make an oval, work on both sides of the chain.
Rnd 1: from the 2nd chain from hook: inc, 2 sc, 4 sc in last sc, turn and work on the opposite side of the chain: 2 sc, inc (12)
Rnd 2: 1 sc, inc, 2 sc, (1 sc, inc)* 2 times, 2 sc, inc, 1 sc (16)
Rnd 3: 2 sc, Bo (3 tr bobble stitch), 3 sc, Bo (3 tr bobble stitch), 5 sc, make 7 ch and work from the 2nd chain from hook: 6 sl st (it’s a tail), 4 sc
Rnd 4-6: 16 sc (3 rounds)
Rnd 7: 3 sc, Bo (4 dc bobble stitch), 3 sc, Bo (4 dc bobble stitch), 8 sc (16)
Rnd 8: (2 sc, dec)* 4 times (12)
Rnd 9: (inc)* 12 times (24)
Rnd 10-11: 24 sc (2 rounds)
Rnd 12: 3 sc, dec, (6 sc, dec)* 2 times, 3 sc (21)
Rnd 13: (5 sc, dec)* 3 times (18)
Rnd 14: 18 sc
Stuff the body.
Insert safety eyes between Rnd 12 and Rnd 13, 4 stitches apart.
Then insert a plastic nose on the one round below symmetrically between the eyes. I immediately tie a loop of pink thread onto the stem of the nose, then attach the cap. Later, I embroider the muzzle with this thread.
Stuff the head.
Rnd 15: (1 sc, dec)* 6 times (12)
Rnd 16: (dec)* 6 times (6)
Insert a needle with a body-colored thread (I use Iris) between rounds 8 and 9 (approximately 1 sc to the side of the center of the body), bring it out in one corner of the eye. Then insert it into the second corner of the eye and return to the starting point between rounds 8 and 9).
Step back 1-2 sc and insert the needle there. Then make a tightening, as for the first eye. Pull the ends of the threads and tie them.
Ears (make 2)
Make 2 ch and in the 2nd chain from hook work: (1 hdc, sl st)* 2 times, 1 hdc
Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the ears on the head.
Embroider the eyelashes, eyebrows, and whiskers (I use YarnArt Jeans yarn, which I separate into separate threads). Using pink thread, embroider a line from nose to mouth.
I bring the pink thread, the ends of the threads from the eyelashes and eyebrows out into the opening of the head. I tie knots, add more fiberfill stuffing, and then fasten off and cut the yarn.
